  • What is the tale of the Gloucester House?
  • Where was the ghostly huntsman going down the shadowy streets?
  • Were there witches on the Seacoast before the Salem witch trial hysteria?

Learn the answers to these and many other mysterious questions as you tour Portsmouth with your costumed, knowledgeable guide. Featured on the Travel Channel & History Channel, your local guide will discuss the evolution and transformation of this “Old Town by the Sea.” The tour begins with a tea-tasting followed by a 30 minute walk highlighting haunted places in a historic neighborhood. After an included lunch, view an audio visual presentation about the haunted history of Portsmouth. Then, tour the historic waterfront and a small 17th century burial ground of Portsmouth’s first settlers, one of the oldest burying grounds in New Hampshire. Complete your tour with a walk along the beautiful waterfront and the Prescott Park Gardens as you listen to more stories and stop for photo opportunities.
